Murder charge laid over woman's death

A 63-year-old man charged with grievous bodily harm over the death of a woman last month has now been charged with her murder.

The 30-year-old woman was found dead in the outback Goldfields town of Laverton on the morning of November 20.

Mervyn Annear, of Gnowangerup, has been remanded in custody in Kalgoorlie since November 21 and will face court on Monday.
