MP's window smashed in shovel rampage

Federal Social Services Minister Christian Porters' electoral office window has been smashed by a man accused of going on a rampage with a shovel in Perth's north.
Police spotted the 21-year-old early on Thursday as he hit the windows of nine businesses with a shovel along Main Street in Ellenbrook.
The man has been charged with nine counts of criminal damage and will appear in Midland Magistrates court later on Thursday.
