Morrison 'fully supports' GST change

Federal Treasurer Scott Morrison is fully supportive of changing the GST carve-up, his West Australian counterpart says.

WA Treasurer Mike Nahan made the comment in parliament on Wednesday ahead of a meeting with Mr Morrison in Sydney on Friday.

"The new treasurer has indicated that he has full support for changing the distribution of GST - he was instrumental in us getting $500 million last year - and we will work closely with him," Dr Nahan said.
