Man, woman missing on WA's south coast
Police have launched a land and marine search for two young people missing near Albany on Western Australia's south coast.
Victoria McCloy, 22, and Geoffrey Bignell, 20, have not been heard from since Friday evening when they arrived in Bald Head in the Torndirrup National Park.
The pair were intending to spend the weekend camping and fishing, and had been due to return to Northam on Sunday afternoon or evening.
Ms McCloy contacted family on Friday evening to advise them they had arrived safely in Bald Head.
A concerned family member travelled to Bald Head after they failed to return and found their black Holden Barina in a car park.
Police are appealing for information and have launched a search operation including marine rescuers and a spotter plane.
Ms McCloy is described as fair-skinned, 170-175cm tall, of slim build with long dark brown hair.
Mr Bignell is of a similar build and complexion with his hair in braids and large ear-piercings.
