Man tries to lure boy into car in Perth

Police say they're very concerned after a man put his arm around a nine-year-old boy three times and offered him a lift in Perth's southeast.

The balding man, who is described as about 178cm tall with a medium build, approached the boy near a Brookdale park on Wednesday afternoon.

Police say the man twice put his arm around the boy, asked questions and offered a lift before being shrugged off, then put his arm tighter around the child a third time before the boy managed to run away.
