Man questioned over Perth murder

A man is being questioned over the murder of a another man in Perth's southern suburbs.

The 57-year-old victim was found on Thursday on the ground with fatal injuries outside a set of units on Brixton Road, Bentley.

He had earlier been seen arguing with another man.

Major crime squad detectives said they had a man in custody on Saturday and he was assisting with their inquiries.

It is believed the 57-year-old was at the Bentley Plaza Shopping Centre earlier on Thursday afternoon and walked to Brixton Road between 3.30 and 4pm.

Detectives have called for anyone who may have seen the victim, who was wearing black dress pants and a black jacket, at that time to contact authorities.

Police have also been collecting CCTV footage from the area.
