Man points laser at WA cop chopper: police

Three men will face court for allegedly pointing a green laser beam at a police helicopter in Perth.
The chopper crew was able to pinpoint the home where the beam came from while it was patrolling the Butler area about 1am on Saturday.
A 28-year-old man has been charged with causing fear with a laser or light to people in conveyance, and possession of a controlled weapon. He is due to appear at Joondalup Magistrates Court next month.

Two other men, aged 23 and 26, are due to face court at a later date for possessing an uncontrolled weapon.
