A man accused of a road rage attack on a Perth grandmother, which provoked public indignation after being filmed and viewed widely online, has appeared in court.
Anwar Hautapu, 29, allegedly shouted at the 56-year-old as their cars merged on Kwinana Freeway in suburban Success in October and threw an item at her vehicle.
He then pulled up in front of her car and smashed the driver's window with his fist, striking the woman in the shoulder and covering her in shattered glass, police allege.
