Man falls from balcony in Perth

An 18-year-old man has fallen several stories from a balcony at an East Perth apartment block while he was trying to reach his ninth-floor unit after locking his keys inside.

Police were called to the Hay Street complex around 9am on Sunday after receiving reports the man had fallen four or five storeys.

Paramedics found him conscious and responsive, and he was brought to Royal Perth Hospital where he is in a stable condition.
