Man extradited to WA over sex attack

A 26-year-old man has been extradited from Queensland to Perth after he allegedly sexually and physically assaulted a woman who he knew last year.

Police claim the attack on the 28-year-old woman occurred in March 2015 and shortly after the man fled to Queensland.

He has been charged with seven counts of aggravated sexual penetration without consent, assault and breaching a violence restraining order, and is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court later on Friday.
