Man dies after ledge fall in outback WA

A man has died after a ledge he was sitting on collapsed, plunging him to the ground at Hancock Gorge in outback Western Australia.
The man was swimming with a group of friends at the Gorge in the Karijini National Park at lunchtime on Wednesday when he climbed seven metres up the rock face to sit on the ledge.
A short time later the ledge collapsed and the man fell to the ground, dying as a result of the injuries, police said on Thursday.

Police said the man was believed to be aged 19 and from Germany.
