Man critical after WA laneway assault

A 30-year-old man is fighting for life after a friend found him injured in a laneway at a Perth park and rushed him to hospital.
The man was found with multiple serious injuries in the laneway between Chartwell Way and Talbot Road in Swan View in the early hours of Sunday, and taken to St John of God Hospital in Midland.
Police believe the man was the victim of a serious assault and say he is in a critical condition.
