Man charged with Perth attempted murder

An elderly man has been charged with attempted murder after he allegedly injured a 23-year-old man who he knew at a home in Perth's north-eastern suburbs.
Police said the victim was taken to hospital for treatment after the altercation at a Dianella house on Monday afternoon.
The accused, aged 70, will appear in the Perth Magistrates Court later on Tuesday.
