Court appearance over elderly man's murder

A man has faced court charged with murdering an elderly man in Perth.
Sebastian Horacio Ruiz, 29, is accused of killing a 76-year-old man who a neighbour found injured on Boundary Road in the leafy suburb of Mosman Park on Saturday.
An ambulance rushed the victim to Royal Perth Hospital where he later died.

Police say the men did not know each other.
Ruiz, from Hocking, appeared in Perth Magistrates Court on Christmas Eve and was remanded in custody to face Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court on January 29.
Police say their investigation is continuing.
