Man charged over attack in WA's southwest

A 23-year-old man is in hospital after suffering serious head injuries during an alleged assault in Western Australia.

The man was found unconscious in Bunbury, in the state's South West region, about 2.30am on Sunday.

A 21-year-old man has been charged with grievous bodily harm and is scheduled to appear in Bunbury Magistrates Court on August 31.
