Lives, homes in danger from WA bushfire

Lives and homes are in danger from a fast-moving and out-of-control bushfire in Western Australia's south.
An emergency warning has been issued for the eastern part of Elleker in the City of Albany.
Homes on Elleker-Grasmere Road will be under threat by fire within 30 minutes, the Department of Fire and Emergency Services warns.

"You are in danger and need to act immediately to survive," DFES warns.
The unpredictable blaze started near the intersection of Elleker-Grasmere Road and Lower Denmark Road, and is burning towards Lake Powell Nature Reserve.
DFES says burning embers are likely to be blown around homes and spot fires are starting up to one kilometre ahead of the fire.
