Perth bushfire brought under control
AAP
A bushfire that was threatening lives and homes in Perth's south has been brought under control and contained.
A watch and act alert that was issued for the eastern part of Baldivis on Monday afternoon has since been downgraded to an advice.
The Department of Fire and Emergency Services says there is no threat to lives or homes but there is a lot of smoke in the area.
