* Area east of Waroona, Hamel and Yarloop and surrounding areas in the shires of Harvey and Waroona

ADVICE WARNING

* People north of the Waroona townsite, including Preston Beach, Lake Clifton and Waroona

* People south of the Harvey townsite, including Binningup, Myalup and Pamelup Estate

DAMAGE

* Two people dead

* 128 houses destroyed

* 41 other structures, including sheds, caravans, bridges, and community and commercial properties lost

* Four firefighters injured

* More than 71,300 hectares burnt

* Fire perimeter in excess of 232km

* Fire first reported 7.25am on Wednesday

* Caused by lightning

* Declared a natural disaster

* Several recreation sites and roads closed

RESOURCES

* More than 370 firefighters

* 60 firefighters, five paramedic and three management support staff from NSW

* Aerial support available if required

* More than 80 appliances and trucks, including 23 earth moving machines

* Evacuation centres at Murray Leisure Centre and Leschenault Leisure Centre
