Kalgoorlie pair charged over injured boy
AAP
Kalgoorlie detectives have charged a second person after a five-year-old boy was injured so badly he remains in a serious condition following a month in hospital.
Police allege a 38-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman failed to provide medical care to the boy in the weeks leading up to June 17 when he was taken to Kalgoorlie Regional Hospital with serious injuries.
The boy's condition worsened and he was transferred to Princess Margaret Hospital in Perth where he remains in a serious condition.
