Jail term sought for counterfeit cash man

A man has admitted knowingly trying to pass off counterfeit cash in Perth's nightclub district and will be sentenced next month, with prosecutors flagging they will seek a jail term.
Brent Alan Williams pleaded guilty to two charges in Perth Magistrates Court on Friday after he was caught attempting a transaction in Northbridge in January using a fake $100 note with a further $2150 in counterfeit cash in his possession.
Williams will be sentenced on September 29.
