Pauline Hanson believes people will support a wider rollout of the cashless welfare card system in Australia to reduce domestic violence and ensure children attend school.

Senator Hanson believes the cards will "definitely" reduce drug and alcohol consumption, adding that when she met with elders in areas where the trial has been run they verified it was helping their communities.

"I think in general, having spoken to taxpayers, I think they're in agreeance with it," she told reporters in Perth on Wednesday.
