Gun-toting thief rear-ends Perth cop car

A Perth man who rear-ended an unmarked police car was found to be carrying a gun and stolen credit cards.
The man hit the unmarked car as it stopped at an intersection in Greenwood on Tuesday night, slightly injuring two officers inside.
When they looked into his vehicle, they allegedly found a handgun, drug paraphernalia, credit cards and other property stolen during burglaries.

A 31-year-old man has been charged with a string of offences including motor vehicle theft and will appear in the Perth Magistrates Court later on Wednesday.
