WA prisoner back in custody after escape

A prisoner who escaped from guards at a Perth hospital with the help of a man brandishing a gun is back in custody.
Johnathan Fraser Sedman, 33, was under escort at Fremantle Hospital this afternoon when a man got out of a passing car holding what was thought to be a gun to help the prisoner escape, police say.
Sedman was recaptured hours later, with detectives interviewing several others over the escape.
