A woman will be sentenced in July for the fatal stabbing of a 20-year-old man at a remote Aboriginal community in northern Western Australia.

Roseanne Ejai, 45, pleaded guilty on Thursday to manslaughter in the Supreme Court via video link from Bandyup Women's Prison.

Police were called to the One Arm Point community, near Dampier, on March 30 last year after a man with stab wounds was found unconscious.

Medical staff attempted to revive the man, but he died shortly after.

Ejai and the man were from the same Bardi community and knew each other.
