Fresh warning for WA bikini massage 'con'

WA's consumer watchdog is seeking tip-offs about a notorious con man and massage business owner who has a history of failing to tell job applicants they must wear bikinis in front of nude clients.

Bikini Girls Massage operator Bon Levi, dubbed Ron the Con by authorities, was in 2011 ordered in the Supreme Court of WA to have any recruitment advertisements for his Narrogin business pre-approved by Consumer Protection.

The order came after he placed misleading ads that not only failed to make clear the required standard of dress, but also omitted information that employees would effectively be sub-contractors who had to rent facilities from the operators.

"Should any allegations of misleading consumers or employment applicants be supported with evidence, we will investigate with the view of taking further legal action," Commissioner for Consumer Protection David Hillyard said on Thursday.
