French teen flooded Perth building: police

A French teenager has been charged after a fire hydrant was deliberately left running in a Perth building, causing a ceiling to collapse.
Police said the incident a fortnight ago on the sixth floor of a St Georges Terrace building caused about $400,000 damage.
The 19-year-old has been charged with unlawful damage and is scheduled to appear in Perth Magistrates Court on May 27.
