Four companies picked for highway upgrade
AAP
Four companies have been shortlisted for the Tonkin Highway upgrade in Perth, part of the $1.12 billion NorthLink WA project.
Federal Assistant Minister for Infrastructure Jamie Briggs and WA Transport Minister Dean Nalder says construction will start in early 2016.
The work will deliver two new interchanges at the Collier Road and Morley Drive intersections, a flyover at Benara Road and an upgrade to the highway north of Guildford Road.
