Four charged over firearm imports

Four people including one with bikie links have faced court on charges of importing gun silencers into Australia after raids by the Australian Border Force.

Investigators seized weapons, unsecured and unregistered firearms, firearm parts, ammunition, pharmaceuticals and illicit drugs in search warrants.

Three people were charged following a series of recent raids on Perth properties.

A 30-year-old Perth man with associations to an outlaw motorcycle gang has been charged with intentionally importing firearms silencers and could face up to 10 years in prison.

A 24-year-old man and 35-year-old woman, both from Perth, have been charged for importing prohibited goods.

A 30-year-old South Australian man was also charged in a related raid with importing a silencer and various firearms offences.
