Flood warning issued for WA's Kimberley region

Flood and bad weather warnings have been issued for parts of Western Australia as ex-tropical cyclone Lam makes its way across the region.
Up to 120mm of rain is forecast for the central and eastern Kimberley in the coming days, the Bureau of Meteorology has warned.
Average falls between 25mm and 50mm were expected between now and tomorrow morning.
The Department of Fire and Emergency Services has issued a warning for residents north east of the area between Derby, Fitzroy Crossing and Balgo Hills to prepare now for bad weather.
"This is unusual weather that could damage homes and make travel dangerous," the warning says.
It's expected to affect residents in Derby, Kuri Bay, Kalumburu, Wyndham, Kunnamurra and surrounding areas.
Residents are advised to have an emergency kit that includes a battery-operated radio, torch, spare batteries and a first aid kit ready.
People should also stay clear of floodwaters, DFES has warned.
