WA firefighters busy with several blazes

West Australian authorities have issued a warning about a fire burning in the Fitzgerald River National Park southeast of Perth.

People in the eastern part of the park could be affected by the bushfire, which was caused by lightning and is currently out of control and heading towards Hamersley Drive.

Parks and Wildlife say there is no immediate threat to homes or lives but locals need to monitor the situation.

A watch and act advice remains in place for people in the eastern part of Two Peoples Bay, 30 kilometres east of Albany, where a fire burning in bushland and pasture poses a possible threat to homes and lives.

In Albany, detectives are seeking information about a fire in Many Peaks southeast of Perth that started on Friday night at the Normans Beach Campsite.

The fire is still being managed.

Meanwhile, the all-clear has been issued for people north of Two Rocks near the Wilbinga Track in Wanneroo with the danger from a suspicious fire burning since Friday passing.

The fire has been contained but residents are urged to remain alert.

Firefighters are mopping up and continuing to monitor the area.
