Family foils Perth kidnap attempt
AAP
Police are looking for a man who attempted to abduct a four-year-old boy as he played at Perth's Kings Park with his family earlier this week.
One of the adults challenged the man - who is described as being in his 30s, slimly built and with fair skin and short, light brown hair - after he picked up the boy from a crocodile sculpture, placed him on his hip and started to walk off.
Detectives would like to speak to anyone who took photos or videos in Synergy Park on May Drive between 1pm and 5pm on Tuesday as they may have captured an image of the man.
