Ellis sons want mother jailed for life
The sons of a woman accused of ordering a hit on their father say they want her to be jailed for life.
Noor Ellis will be sentenced on Wednesday for allegedly ordering the hit on Perth businessman Robert Ellis in Bali.
Peter and John Ellis told 9NEWS they no longer have a mother.
“She’s ruined our life. I was studying, didn’t have a job, no money. I can’t get a job now because I’m in and out of the country,” John said.
Peter said the pair had done everything they can “to ensure justice”.
Kelvin Ellis, Robert’s son from a previous marriage, has flown to Bali from New Zealand.
“It’s a mixture of sadness, reflection, anger and frustration,” Kelvin said.
“Noor has, in my view, not just taken away my father, he’s taken away my children’s grandfather.”
The sons want her jailed for life, or at least a minimum of 20 years.
