Elderly WA cyclist dies after 4WD crash

A 76-year-old male cyclist has died after being hit by a four-wheel drive in Western Australia's Peel region.
Officers say the man was riding on Fishermans Road, Coolup, in the same direction as the 4WD when he was struck at about 8.30am on Sunday.
His death takes WA's road toll for the year to 71.
