A woman cleared of being responsible for causing the death of a drug-affected motorcyclist she hit with her car in Perth has instead been ordered to pay $2288 after admitting drunk driving.

Patricia Connie Peters was acquitted last week in the West Australian District Court of dangerous drunk driving causing the death of 23-year-old Damir Nezic at a Morley intersection in June 2017.

Peters had an alcohol reading of 0.186 per cent, while Mr Nezic had methylamphetamine in his system.

Peters faced Perth Magistrates Court on Monday where she pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

She was fined $2100, plus court costs of $188, and has been banned from driving for 30 months.
