Driver dies in WA after crashing into ute

A man has died after the car he was driving crashed into a ute in Western Australia's wheatbelt region.

Police say the collision happened on the Bindoon-Moora Road in Gillingarra at about 2.30pm on Wednesday.

The man driving the car, 60, died at the scene while the driver of the utility was taken to Moora Hospital and later to Perth Hospital with head and facial injuries.
