Driver avoiding police crashes into patio
AAP
A car has ploughed into the patio of a home in Perth after speeding away from police.
Officers tried to stop the car at 12.30am when it allegedly sped off and turned a corner before the driver lost control and crashed through a fence and into the patio of a unit in Scarborough.
No one was in the home at the time and there was no structural damage to the unit, but the fence and patio were extensively damaged, police said.
