A cranky saltwater crocodile has been captured and relocated from a popular camping and fishing area along Western Australia's Fitzroy River near Broome.

The 3.2-metre crocodile had been lunging at locals and acting aggressively towards those threatening its territory, the Kimberley Land Council said.

It's the second crocodile captured by rangers in two months after they caught a 3.6-metre rogue salty in May.
