Charges laid over terrifying hijack in WA

A man has been charged over a hijacking involving a 51-year-old woman in Perth's south.
It is alleged two men got into the victim's car while it was parked in Mandurah, one of the men allegedly threatening to harm her if she did not drive them.
The victim was forced out of her car at Ormsby Terrace as the duo took off in her car.

A 38-year-old man has been charged with deprivation of liberty, stealing a motor vehicle, aggravated robbery and possessing a prohibited weapon.
He is due to at the Perth Magistrates Court later on Wednesday.
Police say a 39-year-old Mandurah man with a return to prison warrant is likely to face charges at a later date.
