Charges after policewoman hit with car

A Perth man is accused of ramming his car into a policewoman who has serious leg injuries after being pinned between two cars.
Police were trying to stop a car on Tuesday at about 12.50pm after it had fled an accident, crashed into other cars and then become stuck in traffic in Yokine.
The policewoman approached the car on foot and police say the man then reversed, pinning her between two cars and inflicting serious leg injuries.

A 35-year-old man from South Lake is facing numerous charges including causing grievous bodily harm, assault to prevent arrest, reckless driving and separate of breach bail and stealing matters.
He will appear in Perth Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
