Perth bushfire flares at Brigadoon

An emergency warning has been issued for a bushfire that is again burning out of control and threatening lives and homes at Brigadoon in the City of Swan in Perth's north-east.

Homes in Rolling Hills Drive are under threat by fire, with an emergency warning also issued for people in and around Camargue Drive, Cathedral Avenue, Connemara Drive, including the Avon Ridge Estate, north to Lancewood Avenue.

The bushfire was moving fast in a northeasterly direction, a Department of Fire and Emergency Services statement said.

The fire was out of control and unpredictable, burning embers were likely to be blown around homes, with spot fires starting ahead of the fire.
