WA's Pilbara bushfire in containment lines

A fast-moving bushfire is no longer threatening lives and homes near Roebourne in Western Australia's Pilbara region.
The alert level for people in the west and south of the town has been downgraded from watch and act to advice, which means there isn't an immediate danger but residents need to remain vigilant.
The Department of Fire and Emergency Services said the out-of-control and unpredictable fire was burning in a northeast direction towards the North West Coastal Highway and Roebourne, south of Cherratta Road.

The fire front is one kilometre long.
The cause of the blaze is unknown.
