Perth homes still threatened by bushfires
AAP
Fire authorities in Perth have downgraded one of two watch and act alerts current, advising no homes are under threat for the northern part of Kwinana.
But a watch and act alert remains in place for people in the western part of John Forrest National Park near Pechey Road and Toodyay Road in the City of Swan.
That bushfire is still regarded as out of control and unpredictable, and with a wind change later on Friday, homes may be threatened.

An earlier watch and act alert for people in Casuarina was downgraded to an advice, as a bushfire there has been contained and is now under control.
