Bushfire threatening lives and homes in WA

A bushfire is threatening lives and homes in the northern part of the City of Kwinana, in Perth's south.
A watch and act alert was issued at about 4pm on Thursday for people in the northern part of Orelia, Parmelia and the Spectacles.
The Department of Fire and Emergency Services says the blaze is unpredictable as conditions are changing, and people have been told to either leave now or get ready to defend their properties.
