A nine-year-old boy has suffered leg injuries after falling from a bridge while watching the annual Avon Descent white water race in Western Australia.
It happened about lunch time on Sunday and the boy was taken to Princess Margaret Hospital, a St John Ambulance spokeswoman told AAP.
It was the second day of the popular event, which is held east of Perth and covers 124km of the Avon and Swan rivers.
