Bomb technician sent to Perth home

West Australian police bomb technicians are working to identify suspicious liquids found next to an electrical transformer in Perth's north.

Western Power have cut power to several properties in Sorrento after bottles of liquid were found near the transformer after 10am on Monday.

Police say a technician is working to identify the package, while several streets have been cordoned off.
