Body of missing man found off Broome coast

The body of a man who went missing while fishing has been found off Broome.

The 39-year-old man and a friend were fishing off rocks at Demco Beach on Sunday morning but got into trouble after trying to swim back to shore, police say.

A search of the waters was conducted involving local sea rescue, lifeguards and private boats. The man's body was found later in the day.
