Baseball bat attacker arrested in Perth

A man who used a baseball bat to smash up a Perth home has been arrested with the help of the police canine unit.

Officers were called to the Mahogany Creek home about 2am on Saturday following reports a man armed with a baseball bat was damaging property inside.

The 21-year-old ran off into nearby scrub but was arrested soon after and will appear in Midland Magistrates Court on June 30.
