Barn owl stolen from Perth Hills home

A white barn owl has been stolen from a Perth Hills home and her carers are desperate for her return.

Jennifer is small, has white feathers with brown flecks, and her right leg is not straight from a previous break.

Shaina Smith, a nurse at Swan Veterinary Hospital, said there was a clear scissor cut hole in Jennifer's enclosure on Monday night when she was noticed missing.

The owl is an educational bird and due to her injury cannot hunt and would not survive in the wild.
