Bad weather hampers MH370 search

Bad weather has again delayed the expected completion date of the search for missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370.

The 120,000 square kilometre search area in the southern Indian Ocean was previously expected to have been scoured by December but is now estimated to take until January or February.

Three pieces of debris found on the shores of Mauritius, Pemba Island off Tanzania and the island of Reunion off Madagascar have been confirmed as being from MH370, which vanished from radar screens in March 2014 with 239 people onboard.
