Austrian arrested at Perth Airport

An Austrian man has been charged after he allegedly assaulted two Customs officers at Perth Airport.
The man, 54, who arrived on a flight from Abu Dhabi, allegedly struck the officers when they stopped him for a baggage check on Sunday.
He was restrained and arrested by federal police.

The man is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on Monday on two counts of causing harm to a Commonwealth officer.
